The Gem state offers riders an amazing 30 byways ranging from 36-140 miles long including the Elk River and of course the scenic ride to the resort town of Lake Couer d’Alene.  But before you can start taking the road less traveled, the state of Idaho requires all aspiring riders to get a motorcycle license.  To get started on the road towards a motorcycle license all state residents must first pass the Idaho motorcycle knowledge test.

More commonly known as the Idaho motorcycle permit test, this test is comprised of a series of multiple choice questions that will determine if you have sufficient knowledge of the rules of the road, safe vehicle operation, and road signs.  Start preparing for the test now by taking advantage of our Idaho motorcycle permit practice test.  This handy test prep tool is designed to give you a feel for some of the topics of the exam.  You’ll find 20 multiple-choice practice questions based on the information found in the Idaho Motorcycle Manual.  You will need to answer at least 16 questions correctly to pass the practice test.  Good luck!
