But before you can venture out on the open road, the state requires you to get your motorcycle license or endorsement.  Although there is no written knowledge test in Rhode Island, it is very important to understand the rules of the road and how to safely operate a motorcycle. To help ensure you are a safe and knowledgeable rider, our team of experienced instructors has designed a free Rhode Island motorcycle permit practice test.
