West Virginia is within the scenic Appalachian Mountains and has a host of great roads for motorcycle enthusiasts.  In addition to mountain scenery that is second to none, you’ll also find Civil war historical sites, scenic railroads, and historical coal industry museums.  But before you hit the road, you’ll need a motorcycle license and that means passing the state required written test.

The first step in your journey to acquire a motorcycle license is to get your hands on a copy of the West Virginia Motorcycle Operator’s Handbook.  This handbook will give you an overview of everything you need to know to safely operate a two or three-wheel vehicle in the state.

Preparing With the WV Motorcycle Manual

No doubt the handbook is a great resource as you prepare for the exam but remember at some point you will need to test that handbook knowledge and that’s where practice tests come in.  Our West Virginia motorcycle permit practice tests contain state-specific questions on some of the same subjects you will face on the real exam.

So take advantage of both the handbook and the practice tests and you will be well on your way towards experiencing the freedom and independence only a motorcycle license can bring!
